Feagin was dismissed Thursday for an unspecified violation of team rules, according to Rich Rodriguez.

The Detroit Free Press (among other publications) is reporting that sophomore slot receiver Justin Feagin was dismissed from the Michigan football team. Rich Rodriguez was quoted in a statement released today, saying “Justin Feagin was dismissed for violating team rules Thursday evening.”

Feagin bounced between slot receiver and quarterback in the spring, although it was expected that he would land in the slot for the season. He played sparingly last year as a change-of-pace quarterback, rushing for 52 yards on 11 carries and not attempting a pass. He also contributed on special teams.
