Sorry for the lack of posting today — it’s finals season here at Michigan, and I’m a little buried in schoolwork at the moment. Luckily, when I can’t find the time to write much, there’s always Photoshop: Greg posted an incredible picture of Denard Robinson from the spring game, and was kind enough to include a high-res copy, so I thought I’d try my hand at making a wallpaper.
An explanation about the nickname: MGoBlog has been referring to Denard as being made of dilithium since before he hit campus. I think it’s a reference to Star Trek — Dilithium was the fictional element that allowed starships to exceed the speed of light, according to Wikipedia (my Star Trek knowledge is lacking, to say the least). The band MGMT just released a new album featuring the single, “Flash Delirium” — well, you see where this is going:
Click the above picture for a full-size copy, ready to go for your computer desktop. The accompanying “Flash Dilithium” video is coming soon, since I was waiting for a high-def torrent to come through. It’s here, and currently downloading, but I’m not sure when I’ll find the time to edit the video and post it — hopefully I’ll have it up by this weekend. In the meantime, I’ll be back tomorrow with some real content.
